Antiracism Resources

In the September 2020 issue of the American Journal of Psychiatry, we articulated our goal to prioritize the publication of high-quality papers focused on the history of racism, systemic racism issues, health care inequities, mechanisms underlying illness, and new treatment development that are relevant and specific to the mental health of Black individuals.

As part of our intention to elevate issues of structural racism and lack of diversity in research and publishing to become one our highest priorities, we put out a call for papers on these topics. The papers below represent the results of that call.
